Trace important claims to their source

Identify the statements that would change what you do: the amount due, the delivery date, the approved scope, or the identity of the customer. Find the source for each one and check whether it is current and complete.

If the source says "proposed" or "awaiting approval," keep that status in the result. An AI-generated sentence should not turn a possibility into a promise.

  1. Mark the facts and figures that matter to the decision.
  2. Check each against an accessible source and its date.
  3. Recalculate important amounts using the underlying inputs.
  4. Review any proposed action and confirm the result after it is carried out.

An example: a quote with an incorrect total

A fictional quote lists materials at $1,200 and labor at $800, but the draft total says $2,200. Adding the two listed figures gives $2,000. Before correcting the quote, check whether an omitted charge explains the difference.

If no additional charge has been approved or supplied, correct the total and ask the responsible person to review the quote. Do not send the document until the scope, amount, and recipient are right. These figures are made up to illustrate the check.

Review what would happen next

For a message, verify the recipient, wording, and any attachment. For a calendar entry, check the date, time, time zone, participants, and conflicts. For a file, check the intended version and whether the recipient can open it.

A draft is not a sent message, and an approved action is not automatically a confirmed outcome. If a status is unclear, check the destination or other relevant evidence before telling someone the work is complete.

Where Areinum fits

Demo answers can include sources and a data-up-to marker, and actions with external effects are presented for owner approval. Those elements help make a review possible, but they do not replace checking the source or outcome.

Use the general assistant to ask for clarification about the information available in the demo. For a real task, confirm that the relevant source and action are available before depending on the workflow.

Questions you may have

Do I need to check every word?

Focus first on the claims and actions that affect the decision. Increase the depth of review when the result affects money, commitments, access, or another person's work.

What if the AI gives a source but the source is wrong?

A citation tells you where the statement came from; it does not make the source correct. Compare it with the authoritative record or ask the responsible person to resolve the conflict.

What should I do if a calculation is wrong?

Check the inputs, units, date range, and arithmetic. Correct the underlying information or operation, then recalculate and review the result rather than editing the total without understanding the cause.

Is a generated message ready to send?

It is a draft until the right person checks the recipient, content, and attachments. Sending, delivery, and any response are separate events that should be recorded accurately.
