Use the firm's applicable check process
Check the incoming job request against your company's authorisation checklist for that work type, recording which verification steps are complete and who is meeting the locksmith on site.
Separate the request from the accepted scope
Keep the requested work, approved work and later changes distinct. If the person onsite requests something additional, the technician needs a clear route back to the authorised decision-maker before treating the conversation as a change to the recorded instruction.
Record the handover without exposing secrets
Prepare the non-sensitive completion record: job reference, work recorded and the person acknowledging receipt under the company's process. Keys, access codes and identifying evidence need their own secure handling. A public or broadly shared summary should not contain them.

Can the assistant verify someone's right to enter?

Should access codes appear in the handoff summary?
Use the firm's controlled credential-handling process. This summary should identify the job and status without exposing access secrets.
